Emotional Freedom Technique  EFT sometimes called Tapping

I am a qualified EFT practitioner and offer Emotional Freedom Technique (also known as Tapping)  to provide children and adults an emotional outlet.

It is a non-evasive, gentle, non-judgemental approach that perhaps is best described as acupuncture for emotions without the needles. With the use of the fingertips, meridians (energy points) are stimulated by tapping (fully clothed) this stimulation helps to clear emotional feelings or physical pain.

It does not require intrusive questioning into the worry, this makes it very safe for children or for those that have buried the reasons in their unconscious and the words have become lost.

Anyone can learn this simple technique, empowering themselves to take charge of their emotions. It can be used to help manage difficult feelings that just pop up or those that have developed over time.

EFT is helpful for general anxiety, anger, stress, fear and for keeping the body and mind in balance.

I believe EFT works well as a therapy on its own or as part of a sequence of sessions that include mindfulness and breath work.

With children the sessions are made fun, with the use of playful words, colours, superheroes to help them with their thoughts and feelings.
